One Soild Color Epoxy Floor Coatings
When it come to epoxy prep work is everything as in most things!
Metallic Epoxy Floors ( Epoxy Multi-color Flooring ) Â
This Coating system comes with concrete prep work (grinding concrete to a 25 grit before putting down vapor coat /  base coat to allow a good bond to concrete! Followed by a light  pressure wash and or sweep removing all debris. Once Fully Cleaned up and prep-ed we than  begin to fill all cracks if any. Once this part is done we begin applying our base coat / moisture barrier. After that step is completed and has dried we applying 1 thick coat of epoxy using multiple colors of epoxy depending on what colors you want. During this part we apply coating with different patterns depending on what look trying to achive! plus clear coat! one of our favorite Epoxy Floors!

Epoxy Steps of Installation For Metallic, Flake, 3D, Quart
Step 1 Prepping Concrete for Epoxy Â
First thing we have to do is clean the surface of the concrete and or counter top or whatever surface your trying to apply epoxy too. If there is a pervious coating down it till need to be stripped! If working with concrete such as garage floor coating or even polished concrete in a show room you always want to grind to a 25 grit so that  the epoxy will adhesive to the concrete. if were working with wood or plastic ect. will sand with 100 grit sand paper.  after which you want to clean off surface so no debris is left on surface, usually wiping down with ace tone. keep in mind we service all Epoxy Floors, Epoxy Counter Tops, Back Splashes in Cape Coral Fort Myers Naples and all Lee Collier & Charlotte counties!Â
Step 2 Removing Moisture, Filling Cracks Prepping for Epoxy Metallic Coating , solid color & 3D Epoxy!
This step is where we eliminate moisture in the concrete by filling cracks in the concrete slab. failure to fill cracks can lead to epoxy failure. other part of this step is getting the concrete completely dry that means removing oil, waiting for concrete to dry if its wet or damp. once that is all done we begin mixing our base coat of epoxy. you will use a base coat for all epoxy applications.
Step 3 putting down base coat for Metallic Epoxy, 3D Epoxy & Solid Color Epoxy Floors Â
This is where we put down our base coat for epoxy. we use a base coat for all our Epoxy type as that's what the epoxy is designed to bite on and give it that long life span. we put down base coat by first cutting out the edging then pouring epoxy down and use squeegee to spread evenly. With epoxy flake floors we would add flake into base coat as its spread out. All other Epoxy Floors and or Counter Tops like Metallic, Quartz,3D we would let base coat dry before moving onto the next step!
Solid, Metallic & 3D Epoxy Steps Continued
Step 4 Applying Epoxy for Solid, Metallic Colors and 3D Floors & Counter Tops Â
Metallic Epoxy Floors : we would mix up the colors we would be using and apply by pouring out on floor and or counter top in patterns to create different designs depending on what the client wanted. using different tools to spread epoxy across the surface again depending what look trying to achieve. then letting it sit as it will self level and dry and harden.Â
Solid Color Epoxy Floors : we would again pour out the epoxy and evenly spread then using certain tools to achieve different designs and patterns within the color and letting dry and harden.
3D Epoxy Flooring : this is where we place down the art in which you want. For example if you want a ocean and fish theme this is where we would place that pic down by first applying an adhesive then picture , making sure all air bubbles are out
Step 5 Clear Coating Metallic, 3D, Solid Color Epoxy Floor
This is the final Step For All Epoxy Floors. This is Also known as your Epoxy Protective coating. After Making sure surface is clean of debris and loose chips and quarts as well as other contaminate we would do a final wipe down with ace tone making sure surface is clear of every thing. Final mixing up last coat of epoxy we would pour over the metallic and or 3D, Flake, quartz, solid color Epoxy Floor and or Counter Top evenly spreading across whole surface and wait for it to dry . if you would like a non slip finish this is also when we would add grit to make a non slip texture.
Step 6 Maintenance with your Epoxy Metallic, Solid Color, 3D Flooring
